Spencer does Marvel...Dallas style!

He is the stuff I promised in the last post. I painted this for a local grocery store. Here is a couple of pictures...

Plus for your viewing pleasure, I place a video in REAL TIME of me painting this particular sign. It's pretty bad quality unfortunately...sorry

And since we're in a Marvel mood, I include another video that I had nothing to to with, but I think it's awesome!!!!

Booyakashaw!!!

Ok, here's this semester's notebook work so far...well except for the old sign there. For the three of you that still check this site still, there you go... oh, and by the way you all should listen to a band called the Avett Brothers...they are currently blowing my mind. Oh, and i just wanted to let you all know that something awesome is in the works right now. I would call it my 5th symphony of draws and will be posted here next week.

Woah, it's been way longer than I thought

So I guess it's been like 2 months since my last post, so here it is... I did these at work because it's boring! It's still unfinished and as of now, I have no idea if it will ever be, so i threw together a really quick color.

ooh ooh ooh, I know!

Had a good night tonight. Managed to get my homework done...5 days late, but just happy I don't have to take a zero. Just hooked my scanner up to the old compute! One reason why I haven't had so many updates. Really wish I could draw more though..anyway, ladies here's the hulk!

Man of Iron

Well, here it is, one of the only character drawings I have done with a background. The problem is, that when you get finished with the character which is the fun part, the background is just dressing and therefore, boring. Anyway, it sure does help a drawing...I will be coloring this sometime in the future, so pay attention!

invincible, yet...

This is Invincible, done with my tempera sign paints while I was being distracted from my real sign I was painting at the time...It's actually not finished in this picture(hence the oddly shaped leg) The colors ended up being pretty cool I think. In real life, lately I have been reading the book, Mildred Pierce, by James M. Cain. It's an old book, but it has been pretty cool so far. This author was famous for his books being turned into film noirs of the post ww2 era.
